Stories of better
We won a pitch for Toyota that came in from the advertising agency, Saatchi & Saatchi. The idea was to create a series of animated commercials that would launch at the 2012 Paris Motor Show.
The film introduces Toyota’s concept of ‘Always a Better Way’ in a colorful and dynamic stop-motion animation bursting from the pages of a pop-up storybook. The genius of the idea was that it combined traditional stop-motion techniques with computer-generated animation. The whole film was essentially created on the computer and then converted to paper-crafted models that burst out of the pop-up book.
